As a user relying on password managers and auto-fill solutions (e.g., Dashlane, LastPass, 1Password), I experience issues where form fields in Pelcroβs UI are not consistently marked or labeled for proper auto-population. This results in failed or incomplete auto-fills, leading to frustration, slower checkout flows, and increased abandonment risk.
π‘ User Story
As a Pelcro user, I want all default and commonly customized UI fields to be correctly labeled and structured for compatibility with major auto-fill tools, so that my saved data (emails, addresses, payment info) auto-populates seamlessly, saving me time and reducing friction.
π― Definition of Done (DoD)
A feature is done when:
βοΈ All fields in the default Pelcro UI are correctly labeled with standard attributes (e.g., autocomplete, name, type) to support auto-fill solutions.
βοΈ QA verifies compatibility with leading auto-fill providers (Dashlane, LastPass, 1Password, Chrome, Safari).
βοΈ A validation checklist is created for testing the most commonly used custom UIs to ensure consistent behavior.
βοΈ Documentation is updated to guide clients on best practices for maintaining auto-fill compatibility in custom implementations.
