Customer Balance Summary Report

Problem Statement

Currently, Pelcro users cannot view a consolidated summary of all customer ending balances. This limits visibility into outstanding amounts and requires manual exports or database queries. A dedicated report is needed under the Accounting tab to improve transparency, efficiency, and decision-making.

As an accounting/finance user

I want to get a “Customer Balance Summary Report” under the Accounting tab

So that I can quickly see all customers’ ending balances in one place without exporting data manually.

🎯 Definition of Done (DoD)
A feature is considered done when:

  • A new page labeled “Reports” is available under the Accounting tab, using the new UI template.

  • The page includes a Customer Balance Summary Report which should have all the following attributes:

    • Customer ID

    • Currency

    • Ending Balance

    • Customer Email

    • Plan ID

    • Product ID

    • Subscription Plan Amount

    • Subscription Product Name

    • Subscription Plan Nickname

    • Outstanding Invoices Count

    • Default Payment Method

    • Customer Created Date

    • Expiry Date of Last Active Subscription

    • End Date of Expired Subscriptions

    • Has Active Subscription

    • Number of Active Subscriptions

    • Last Active or Current Subscription ID

  • The export will be sorted in descending order so finance teams see the highest outstanding balances first.

  • The UI follows the new template design system (consistent typography, layout, components).

  • The feature is tested across major browsers and devices to ensure responsiveness and usability.

  • Documentation is updated to explain where the report is located and how to use it.
